Melissa Moore

I just lost my husband of 25 years to Alzheimer's. I was 25 years younger than him. I took care of him the last 3 years and do not know how to begin to start a new life for myself. I would like to make some new friendships for social networking who have gone through a same kind of loss. I work as a Medical Practice Administrator in San Diego and I have lived here since I was a young girl. I love to go to movies, walks on the beach, love boating, and travel to Sedona at least twice a year for a spiritual journey, and I have been trying different adventures the last 2 years like white water rafting, air balloons, zip lining. Maui is my favorite vacation spot.

Deane was my soul mate and friend. He was charming, witty, humorous, a scientist and oceanographer which made him a world traveler. He loved to teach kids science and teach them how to surf, dive, and of course respect the ocean. He had wonderful stories to tell from his travels and experience. He was a wise man and he was in such tremendous physical shape. He was well respected in his community for his involvement with Scripps Institute of Oceanography. He loved life and believed in living it to his fullest.
