About Me:
I am a mother of two handsome sons Michael 25 and Kelvin 16. I am a grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren Khalil 6, and Kamiyah 3.
I loss my mom June C. Johnson suddenly August 2, 2006 to lung cancer, and my dad September 22, 2007after a six year battle with colon cancer .
I am a published poet/author of a newly released book called "VICTIM! VICTORIOUS!"
It's funny how I have gained such spiritual insight since my parent's passings, and feel a closer connection with them now than I ever had when they were in this life.
My book is based mostly on my life story, sprinkled with a few imaginative pieces. One thing I know for sure, is that my poetry will inspire, encourage, and empower others who may think that there is no hope and no reason to go on. For anyone who feels that when our loved ones die, they are gone forever, never to be seen or heard from again, I beg to differ with you. Our loved ones are in a better place, yet they have the ability to come and visit us, and comfort us here on earth. VICTIM! VICTORIOUS! has many poems on various topics, including alcoholism, domestic abuse, self-hatred, family issues, as well as triumph and healing of the soul. I am not a psychologist, I am just someone who has experienced a lot of life's adversities, and I will tell you how my faith has blessed me with strength, and gotten me through each and every one of them. And that no matter where you have been, or what you are going through, you too can be VICTIM! VICTORIOUS!~Peace & Blessings!~Antoinette Denise Johnson

About:
My mother June C. Johnson.
November 28 1944-August 2, 2006
She was my shero. She taught me that I could be
whatever I wanted to be. Just be the best at it that I could be.
She taught me to always believe in myself;
"Never settle for less than what you deserve." She also taught me that hard work, perseverance, and determination will eventually pay off.
She showed me how to be a good person, and that doing the right thing is always best! My mom taught me the difference between
a hand out and a hand up! Her words that are forever engraved in my mind are
"I will help you, help yourself!"
And she did!
&
My father Charles L. Johnson
July 24, 1945- September 22,2007
He was my hero. He taught me so many things, everything from how to
laugh at life, to how make chicken and dumplings from scratch.
A very gentle loving, and talented man.
He was there when I needed him the most!
Thanks Ma & Dad!
Without you, there would be no me!

Antoinette Denise Johnson
I dedicate my book VICTIM! VICTORIOUS! to them both!
