He received a Heartmate II, Left ventricular assist device in October 2009 and died in November 2009. This was to be a bridge to transplant. Doctors made him believe he would die without this surgery. He felt really good prior to surgery, best he had felt in years. I am so angry and in so much pain. I miss him so.
