Joe was a kind hearted, warm and generous person. Just a year older than me, we grew up close, and I have many memories of family holidays and good times.
Unfortunately, he was plagued with depression and Borderline Personality Disorder for which we tried and tried again to get help but to no avail.

I last saw my brother on 12 december 2008 after we had been to a Slipknot concert. I thought we had a good time. I don't remember saying goodbye...I guess I thuoght we had all the time in the world.

But in the early hours of 15 December, he took his own life, leaving behind a 5 page letter and card.

He is, and always will be, a beloved brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law and friend.
