I was beginning to think that this website had gone to the dogs, because the only messages I got were spam, and some arsehole trying to sell viagra and sex toys!!! Then there was some chick telling me I needed to visit her site to see her naked! This is a bereavement site, for heavens sake!
Thank goodness there's still some sanity out there. I was seriously beginning to lose faith.
We have slowly been pulling each other closer again as a family, and starting to realise that our lives are going to go on without Timmy. There are times of fun and laughter creeping back, and while there is still emptiness, we are a bit remote from it and it's not so raw anymore.
We went on a short break to the warm south coast a few weeks ago, and just took time to play in the waves with David and Ruthie. they have also been so lost, so unsure if the world is still a safe place. I don't know if they will bounce back fully, but we pray and hope for the best.
