I am 68 years old. I lost my wife of 41 years to lung cancer in July 2007. We moved from Montreal to Hamilton, Ontario to be closer to our children in Toronto. As well as losing my wife I am isolated from all my old gang in Montreal. I live with a sixteen year old dog, my constant companion. Living alone is difficult but I am slowly getting the hang of it. I am a fine art photographer and digital printer.

Maureen was a gifted artist, my soulmate. We did a lot of stuff together to the point that friends said we were joined at the hip. We loved music, fine art, TV, all sorts of literature. She was smart, funny and extremely beautiful. Her absence permeates my house.
Since writing the above my dog Jack died at almost 17 years of age, Born a dog, died a gentleman.
