Norma Jean Bobst

I am a mother of 2 children, 1 on earth & 1 in heaven. I have worked in the mortgage banking industry for 20 years & was laid off in January 2009. My son, Christopher, passed away on August 8, 2008, at the age of 25. My mother just passed away on February 2, 2009. Divorced in 1994 and remarried in 1998. My father passed away on March 10, 1989 and my brother passed away on May 28, 1973. My daughter (21) and stepson (19) are my reasons for staying alive. I love animals and currently have 1 dog, 4 parrots & 3 guinea pigs. Due to the ecomony I had to sell my 2 horses. I am currently employed, part-time, in retail (first job in this industry) as an assistant manager.

The loss of my brother and father had a major impact on my life but nothing can compare to the loss of my son. He was in the prime of his life, working on his masters & engaged. My life stopped on August 8, 2008, and will never be the same. Within 6 months, my mother passed away. All of my grandparents have passed away along with high school friends and numerous pets. My husband's parents have also passed away.
