I'm a free spirit, lost in the winds of this world. Always searching for...something?. I'm an amputee. Only a month or so after losing the love of my life I went into septic shock, had a heart attack, multi (well, every) organ failure and had to eventually have my blood pressure raised using a drug which in turn..killed my legs from the knee down. I am so blessed to be alive, what do I have to complain about? I have my family, my faith, and my dreams and nothing can change that.

I lost my fiance only days after he proposed. Here is an email i sent him long before his accident ever shattered everyone's lifes.

"has anyone ever told you you light up their world. that without your existence they wouldnt have become fully aware of their own. that everyday with you marks a miracle and when they look into your eyes they can see the spirit and they believe, deeper than they ever have. that the future with you gives them hope, hope of a beautiful time, and a beautiful family, starting with one act of love and connection and ending with the beginning of a new life. that this time cannot come soon enough. has anyone ever told you thank you. thank you for showing them there are men who actually care and do not treat a woman awful. that there are men who would make amazing husbands and amazing fathers...now they have. I love you so much honey."
